At EECRC, our goal is to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the 2025 CSA/Produce Prescription Program through the Action Grant. This program is dedicated to improving health outcomes for underserved populations by offering culturally relevant nutritional support in collaboration with trusted community partners. Funded by the Multnomah County REACH Program Action Grant and supported by the Healthy Heart Ambassador Program, this initiative empowers community members to prevent and manage high blood pressure through education, self-monitoring, and healthy lifestyle changes
We help community members to enroll in health insurance through the Oregon Health Plan (OHP).
Our team provides culturally responsive support to guide individuals and families through the enrollment process, primarily with Health Share of Oregon and Trillium Community Health Plan. We make sure our community members understand their options and stay connected to the care and services they need.
Our mission is to ensure that everyone in our community has access to quality, affordable healthcare coverage and the tools to use it confidently.
Mentorship is a powerful tool for personal and community growth. At EECRC : Ethiopian and Eritrean Cultural and Resource Center, we encourage experienced individuals to become mentors to younger community members. By sharing your knowledge and experiences, you can help shape the future leaders of our community. If you are interested in making an impact, consider becoming a mentor.
