EECRC is a member of The African Communities Behavioral Health Collaborative that is a community-based work group and forum focused on addressing the diverse emotional wellness needs of African people in the tri-county area. ACBHC is a space for African community members, practitioners and leaders to work together to highlight and promote the need for effective culturally specific behavioral health services for our community members.
EECRC sponsored by Public health Institute through OHPI-RIFS coalition to assist Black( Ethiopian/Eritrean ) childcare providers In pursuing childcare Licensure in Oregon by Providing Culturally specific and language specific ( Amharic and Tigrgna) assistance to RFTS providers Seeking Childcare Licensure.
EECRC partnered with Unite Oregon in the Community Summit project to bring Ethiopian and Eritrean community to have their say in the effort of developing and implement of the community engagement strategy.
